Flame retardant non-woven fabrics can be divided into flame retardant needle cotton and flame retardant hot air cotton according to the process.
Needle punched flame-retardant non-woven fabrics can be divided into three categories according to their materials, namely polyester needle punched flame-retardant non-woven fabrics, polypropylene needle punched flame-retardant non-woven fabrics, and adhesive needle punched flame-retardant non-woven fabrics. This is mainly divided according to their main components.
The main component of polyester needle punched flame-retardant non-woven fabric is polyester, which belongs to chemical fibers and is a polymerization product of terephthalic acid or diethyl terephthalate and ethylene glycol. The characteristics are high strength, good elasticity, good heat resistance, smooth surface, good wear resistance, good light resistance, corrosion resistance, and poor dyeing performance.
Polypropylene needle punched fiber is a synthetic fiber made from propylene, characterized by high strength, good wet and dry strength, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Viscose needle punched fibers belong to the category of updated cellulose fibers, characterized by good moisture absorption, lower fracture strength than cotton, environmental friendliness, harmlessness, and degradability.
Flame retardant non-woven fabrics can be divided into flame retardant needle cotton and flame retardant hot air cotton according to the process.
Flame retardant cotton is formed by the entanglement of fibers after being punctured by a needle punching machine, while flame retardant hot air cotton is mainly formed by hot air passing through a furnace after being laid in a mesh. Both of these products have their own characteristics, with commonalities being flame retardant, lightweight, warm, durable, and environmentally friendly.
